Who we are
We love languages and want to create a solution that makes learning languages (think: Spanish, French, Hindi, Mandarin, and more.) fun for kids!
That’s why we are building a marketplace that connects parents seeking to help their kids learn or maintain a foreign language with providers that know that language. Even better, our providers teach children a skill or activity (think: music, art, sports, dance, and more.) in their native language, helping students learn the language in a non-formal classroom (or app) setting.
What better way to hear, learn, or maintain a language than when kids are actively doing something they enjoy!

Our providers
Our providers are independent instructors who have a skill(s) and are comfortable teaching those activities in their fluent language to students.
Providers create their own profile, pricing, and schedule, and we help highlight their services on Basalingo.
We do a background check on all providers on our platform and also ensure they have true knowledge of the language.
